30w4d. Feeling good but I have noticed several “out of breath” incidents that happen for no apparent reason.

I had another Dr. appointment last Friday. I saw the nurse, Gayle, this time. She was good too. My blood pressure was lower than usual which surprised me (100/64). Heartbeat was in the 140s again and I am measuring 32 cm/weeks along. I did mention some menstrual-type cramping and headaches but she wasn’t too concerned. The best news is that I lost ½ a pound! I knew some of that 6 ½ pounds from last time had to be water weight or something! Gayle was really surprised though and said, “You LOST ½ a pound over Christmas?!?” LOL! She was bug-eyed and incredulous! It was great! My next appointment is Friday, January 17 at 10:15. I get to repeat the 3 hour GTT and do the blood test for anemia. Joy! Imagine… only 6 weeks until I get checked for dilation!

Darrell gave me a spa mat for our bathtub for Christmas. We tried it out yesterday. I was a bit disappointed that it blows cold air but very surprised at how strong it was! The fun part started when I added bubble bath- a BUBBLE EXPLOSION!!! The bubbles kept growing and growing until they hit my chin and then we couldn’t keep them from going over the side!!! It was soo funny to see Darrell madly scooping up bubbles- I was incapable of helping because I was laughing hysterically! Of course, under the miles of bubbles the water began pouring over the edge and onto the floor! In the end we had bubbles and water everywhere- including both doors and Darrell’s head! It was a blast! This picture is from the “this is cool!” stage… too bad we didn’t get pictures when things really got out of hand!
