Chances are my son would survive if born now!! He has been really moving around in there this week! I feel him at least every morning and evening and often after I eat something. He mostly rolls, but I have had a few jabs- and one kick to my cervix that about sent me to my knees! Last Saturday he was the most active to date- he moved around just about all day! It was great! I am still not used to feeling him so much though- I often gasp out loud when he starts up! Here is a picture that Darrell took of me laughing my head off because the baby was moving so much he tickled! A poor photo, but a memory anyway.&& break# align#center&& break# graphic#userurlBabytickles.jpg&&&&4&&&&&&&&&& break# align#left&& break# text#I have been sorting through the baby’s clothes and toys so I can wash what I already have- 5 loads!!! I put the swing seat cover in one load and it fell apart! I was really upset- I had to order a new one. I hate wasting money. While sorting through things, I opened a package of wash cloths and asked Darrell what he thought I should do with the pink one. I joked about burning it but Darrell replied, “My son is secure enough in his masculinity to wipe his butt with a pink rag. Keep it!” LOL!&& break# align#center&& break# graphic#userurlIkilledtheswing.jpg&&&&4&&&&&&&&&& break# align#left&& break# text#I’ve also done a fair bit of sewing lately. I made a couple of bibs that hold a pacifier and I sewed the first M&M crib sheet! I was very proud that it actually fit the mattress. I am very glad that I didn’t trust the pattern I had bought- it was way too small. A second sheet is in the works.&& break# align#center&& break# graphic#userurlBearwithBib.jpg&&&&4&&&&&&&&&& break# break# graphic#userurlMMcribsheet.jpg&&&&4&&&&&&&&&& break# align#left&& break# text#Darrell and I went to see a play the other night, called “Nunsense.” It was funny but the acting was on the poor side. But it was great to get out. Darrell even remarked that this would probably be our last play for awhile. Our twosome time gets shorter and shorter! I actually am wearing a pre-pg dress- and don’t even look pregnant!!!&& break# align#center&& break# graphic#userurlIdontlook6mopg.jpg&&&&4&&&&&&&&&& break# align#left&& break# text#Since the beginning of my pregnancy, Darrell has talked about two things: reading to the baby and playing music for the baby. So a few days ago we started playing a wide variety of music for him. He played John Tesh- Canta Domine, Beatles- Turn,Turn,Turn, and Chinese Tai Chi Music the first night. I am planning on finding a lullaby I like and playing it for him daily. Maybe he’ll be soothed by it after he is born. I also purchased “Goodnight Moon” today. When it arrives, we’ll start reading to him. ££ ££Last night I figured I was far enough along in this pregnancy to relinquish hold on my beloved fertility monitor so I slapped it on Ebay. It sold overnight for $120!!! I couldn’t believe it! I only paid $160 for it myself! ££ ££We have our "What to look for" Car Seat class tonight. So afterwards we find a car seat (I finally know which one I want- Graco SnugRide iin the Vintage print) and then go to the "How to install" class 2 weeks from now and they'll install it for us. Hopefully they'll install the bases in BOTH cars. So I need to shampoo my back seat- cuz Sam left it a bit stained. My gosh- it'll be funny driving around with my own baby's car seat in the back!!&& break# align#center&& break# graphic#userurlGracoSnugRide.jpg&&&&4&&&&&&&&&& break# align#left break# url#userurlPregIndex.html&&Back to front page&&&&_top
