Our son is definitely more active in the evenings. I may not feel much still, but at least I feel a light rolling sensation or two then. I can’t wait for more. I have to say, however, that I tend to zone out on things lately. Conversations, TV shows, whatever. Bugs me right along with the dropping of things. I have really popped out in the belly since my last pictures 3 weeks ago. I just have to look at my belly now and I smile. Something is definitely growing in there! Darrell says everyday how he can’t wait to hold and see our baby!!! He loves talking to him with his mouth practically pressed against my belly button. It is too cute… especially when he sings some made up song. These were taken last night:&& break# break# align#center&& graphic#userurl22wksbelly.jpg&&&&4&&&&&&&&&& break# break# graphic#userurl22wksfront.jpg&&&&4&&&&&&&&&& break# align#left&& break# text#My wonderful husband made the front page of our local newspaper, the San Antonio Express-News a couple of days ago!!! I am very proud of him!!! It reflects my recent mood- thank you pregnancy hormones (or maybe no work stress?!), so I thought I’d share it here. This is from yesterday (Strike number one was homemade hamburger hockey pucks, uh, buns): ££ ££***** ££Name: JenH ££Subject: Well... since you asked :) ££My Stats: 22w2d ££Sent: 12.02 am - sun 10 nov 2002 ££ ££I woke up at 11:00, played on the internet til 2:00. Vacuumed and dumped the trash, took a leisurely bath (amazing what sticks up out of the water now! LOL). DH then came home from work. He made us cheese quesadillas for lunch- what a guy! We played some Final Fantasy X on his Bday PS2 (WooHoo!). I made a new recipe of Sugar Cookies I found (and realized with a laugh that that recipe is supposed to be for rolling out, cutting out, and frosting cuz they were stiff and not too sweet. Betty Crocker I am NOT lately! Strike 2 in 2 days!). Played some more game... more game... did a tad of laundry, MORE game... finally got around to making dinner (Meatballs & noodles in stroganoff sauce). But, sadly, I put the meatballs in the oven so I could watch more of the gaming and well... exciting stuff was happening so I overcooked them a tad. Okay, more than a tad Strike 3 in 2 days... But it was otherwise an okay meal. Saved the day pg-wise with a salad, heavy on the veggies, with fresh spinach in it. Now we are back to our game. I tell you, it is a FANTASTIC game!! I so love the weekends & I know days like these are soon to be a fond memory of our past!! ££ ££Of course, DH made a nice pallet on the floor with blankets and pillows so he could be all cozy while playing. LOL, he saw me watching his careful preparations, so he panted a bit and crawled into it, circling around just like a dog before he laid in it- he looked so funny that I laughed so hard I choked. He says I laugh a lot more now that I am pg. What can I say?! When you are happy, you are happy! ££***** ££ ££We *might* have a name now. How does Brendan Gene sound? I really like it, but does Bren work as a nickname? Hmm… guess I’ll have to do what my Mother-in-law told me to do and shout it out the door 100 times! I think we are going to stick to our guns and wait to tell everyone the name until he is here.&& break# break# url#userurlPregIndex.html&&Back to front page&&&&_top
