The New Horizon Baptist Church met for worship and heard reports from Reverend W.R. Brown, Jr. and his father, Reverend Dr. W. R. Brown, Sr. concerning the National Baptist Convention which they attended this past week in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Philadelphia welcomes the delegates of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. and looks forward to hosting the 127th Annual Session!

Reverend Dennis N. Crofts gave the opening scripture and brought prayer.  Reverend Brown’s message was Nothing Can Separate Us From The Love Of God based on Romans 8:39.

Reverend W. R. Brown, Sr. rose to give his synopsis of the National Baptist Convention and to thank the church for sending him and his son as delegates.

 Sister Pat Wisdom and Sister Amber Sapenter were visitors and received a copy of the New Horizon News newsletter from our usher, Sister Lisa.

Pastor Brown applauds after the presentation.   He also announced the upcoming marriage of his daughter.  Ms. Monique Shemain Brown to  Mr. Tywansly  Jamal Windom on September 22, 2007 at the  Christian Tabernacle Church  1041 Washington Avenue Evansville, Indiana at 3 O’clock in the afternoon.  Following the wedding there will be a reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral located at 203 Chestnut Street in  Evansville, Indiana.
