Pastor W.R. Brown, Jr. and his father, Reverend Dr. W.R. Brown, Sr. are in Philadelphia, PA representing the New Horizon Baptist Church at the National Baptist Convention.  The Pastor has taken our gift for the foreign missions. 

 

 

The New Horizon Baptist Church gathered together for worship.  Reverend Dr. Dennis N. Crofts opened the service with scripture and prayer.

Pastor Brown presents Deacon Robert wall his certification for his completion of training which was held at Mt. Olive Galilee Baptist Church on church polity.

We are New Horizon Baptist Church….Creating New Horizons in people’s lives and bring a Renaissance to Lincoln Avenue.

Sunday had a variety of events and venues.  Worship was held at the C. K. Newsome Center in Evansville.  A chicken dinner followed the church service.  The City Youth Explosion Choir came and had dinner with us.  They rehearsed their songs and went with us to  St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Princeton , Indiana.  Reverend Collins is the host pastor who had invited Pastor W.R. Brown, Jr. to  be the speaker at their annual Mother’s Board event.
