Your fluid writing makes this event even better for those of us covering the Chicago homefront. I am proud to say that our local high school is having the entire student body of 3000+ watch the inauguration at school, as is our little catholic school. Is it fair that this inauguration, with our President “of color” gets so much more attention than previous ones? Maybe, maybe not. But frankly, I think we should celebrate this inauguration more than any others because of how the nation has united to choose one man to lead us. The celebration is about our unity, not a skin pigment, in my opinion. My family is under economic stress, and we worry at night- but Obama’s election makes me so utterly happy that it makes me forget about that stress and feel proud, proud, proud. Tell us everything, Megan!!
