Baby Pains - Conception through Child Care

Well, here I am just 8 weeks and 3 days away from having a second baby in my home and I seem to have more and more trouble sleeping. My son is sleeping more than most toddlers do. Especially in the mornings. At first it didn’t bother me but now he does it so often that I’m just kind of awake real early to make sure he’s okay. It seems like we have so much to do and not quite enough time. My little one is turning two on the 11th and so we’re throwing his birthday party this Saturday so we can have all of his cousins there. And in the process of trying to get ready for his party I feel like we have completely forgotten to get ready for a tiny baby. We already ordered the crib and it looks amazing, we just have to wait for it to be delivered. My Mother -in - Law has been such an amazing help. Taking me places when I need to be some where and helping to search for baby stuff. She purchased a second car seat for both  the toddler and the one on the way. Just so if she wants to take us to lunch we don’t have to worry about if the car seats are in Dad’s car. Anyway I can’t believe the munchkin is about to be 2, he jumped on my stomach. RIGHT WHERE THE BABY WAS ASLEEP!!!!! I screamed out in pain. But I’m okay and so is the baby. But it’s all good. Anyway, I have to go I’ve got company on the way over. So I’ll write again later.

I love the idea of getting ready for a new baby. I’m really excited about having a second little boy. However it’s getting so hard to sleep. When I can sleep because the baby isn’t kicking the toddler is awake and my husband wants to sleep after a long day at work. Or if it’s time to sleep at night I then have the occupational hazzard of being kicked in the gut by an unborn child. So I want to sleep in in the mornings and that’s when my baby decides to wake up at 6 or 7 am. I’m trying though. I’m finally in the final stages. Seven months pregnant I can’t believe I’m almost done with my second pregnancy!!! It seems so unreal but it’s definitely exciting!!

So I’m finally past the half way mark and all I can think about is why my son keeps beating my stomach with little plastic toys that make the most annoying sounds! Well sine I’m new let me go ahead and let you in on who I am. My name is Carla and I’m the mother of a one year old boy, Landon. My husband, Johnny, and I are expecting a new addition to the family. We found out a month after the wedding that we were pregnant!!! And a few months back we discovered its a boy so now all Landon wants to do is hate it. When he knew it was a baby but wasn’t sure of boy or girl he didn’t care. Now it seems like a tragedy! But I know he’s looking forward to it. However before our baby comes in June Landon’s second birthday hits in April! So I’m really looking forward to it. It’s supposed to be a Spongebob Squarepants theme. If he stays off my stomach long enough for me to plan it! lol. I’m really excited… But Landon is getting into some stuff right now and I have to go.
