The Adoption Group of Orange County is an all volunteer, not-for-profit support group for families formed by adoption and persons interested in learning more about adopting a child.
Are you thinking about adopting a child? Or have you already formed your family through adoption? AGOC is here for you! Our mission is to enrich the lives of adopted children and their families by offering:
Educational Meetings held the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm, in Middletown, NY, with professional speakers on a variety of adoption-related and parenting topics.
Pre-Adopt Workshops offering personalized support and education for those entering the adoption process.
Members’ Nite Out, a chance to connect with other pre- and post-adoptive parents and find or offer support among fellow AGOC members who understand the joys and challenges of adoption.
Play Groups, Holiday Parties, Family Outings and Special Celebrations providing the opportunity to cultivate friendships, and simply have fun together!
A Lending Library with lots of great books and videos all about various adoption-related and parenting topics.
AGOC News, our newsletter with information on adoption conferences, where to find free resources for adoptive families, upcoming events and more.
